Wow, the LA county fair is in town for the month. Coming from OK, the fair is a big thing! I ran across this website and wanted to share the joy of the TV spots with everyone. This is where we live...Not OK Anymore to say the least!

At LONG last

It's been a crazy 6+ weeks for the Houston's! Both working in Higher Ed means August and September are the busy season. I don't know if it is a good thing or not with our schools not overlapping start dates. One, if they did it would be crazy, but at least it would only be 3-4 weeks of crazy. This current way means from August 1 - September 14 one of us is out of our minds busy.

During this time we still were able to find some quality time and take some cute pics. Make sure to check out the album on the left for 20 new pics.

We are going to see grandma Jackie and grandpa Durne this weekend. Hopefully Caleb does well the 5 1/2 hours in the car. I will definitely post how he does plus write some two pages of words he already knows and says. Thanks for your patience, and now hopefully with things more 'normal' we can get back to posting a little more!
